Barcode Scanner

Hi there everyone. For the last days i'm trying to use barcode scanner. I realy don't what is happening, but i won't work even with prays. I've been sitting like an idiot staring at the monitor of my pc and holding my phone for the last days for arround 10 minutes and still no result. Does anyone know a barcode scanner that realy works and that doesn't need any prays to work ?

I don't know of any barcode scanner that can do that. A "workaround" when you are scanning on the computer is to zoom in, with the computer. On windows 7 the shortcut is win++

I do not use very often the barcode scanner, but I reailize it work if I hold the phone and try to approach the monitor with the phone and the barcode is on my screen, and there is a certain distance where it works, appr.10 cm
But without autofocus it a little bit tricky

Thank you everyone for your answers, the solution that worked for me was from brixendk, by zooming the webpage. Ctrl+Mouse Scroll or setting it from the bottom right corner.
