Having a mac and a pc, I have found a great application called Springpad.
Right now it's free. I've liked it over Evernote for the great ability to make checkable lists as well as keep notes. They also have versions for the apple stuff that stays synced. I'm giving it a test run and so far it's been pretty great.
You can find the web/desktop version here...Springpad and download with the QR code here.
I'd like to know what others think of this app.
I also like Evernote and am still using both to see which one fits me better.
I use Astrid Tasks and am very happy with it. No ads. Amusing notifications with flexible multiple deadlines if you want them. You can even hide far out tasks until they approach, then they appear. And it comes with a widget for a quick look on the screen, but not as intrusive as others I tested.
