I manually installed Froyo on a Motorola Droid from one of the available sites prior to the OTA update. I've experienced some slowness and my phone locking up. Can I revert back to the last good update and then reinstall Froyo via the OTA update option on my phone?

Have you tried just doing a full factory reset? I think that'd work, but I'm not completely sure.

Ive done a factory reset and removed all of the apps etc and still have a lot of problems with phone lag and isses with texting. I havent been able to find a way for me to revert back to 2.1 from 2.2, which i feel would solve my problems. Any help?

Probably only option is root and find a 2.1 rom. A lot of 2.1 roms have been tweeked and extremely stable.
