Hey jnm:

A bit mo' info pls.:

1. How hot? Does it hurt your hand? Are you using a case? If so, which one?

2. How quickly does the battery get low from full?

Will try to help.

Not hot enough to hurt my hand but hot.

No i am not using a case should i be?

I got the phone on wed and had to charge it 3 times all ready. Is there something i can do to max the battery life.

thank you so much

Battery drain unfortunately is subjective, much is going to depend on obvious things, usage, talk time, music playing, bluetooth et. all. Turing on and off things like bluetooth, gps, wifi when you dont need them will help. how often you have other email accounts set up to scan for new email will also play alot as well as other things like facebook, other social networking stuff. if your screen is on its brightest setting might want to turn that down. it is now atypical for the battery to get warm during use, but how quickly it cools back down when it isnt is something to pay attention to no doubt. i work nights, i plug my phone in during the day when im sleeping, grab it around 7pm and not on a charger again until 10 or so the next morning with plenty to spare. it will change a bit depending on how much i goof off and play games when i should be working though ;)

I will try those things and see if it helps the battery life.

It cools off quick when i am done using it. I just was not sure if it was normal or not for it to get warm/hot like that. my old blackberry never did that.

thank you for the help

Smart phones get hot when used. My D2 is my 3rd smart phone, they all get hot from what I can tell.

Battery life is up to the user as soul said.

I charge mine frequently so I can do what I want.
