Help firmware for Spica for user in Saudi arabia

Hi all,

I'm new to upgrading firmware, I read many threads about how to update to Android 2.1 and try to update my new Spica device but without successes

The flashing of android 2.1 went on without any problems but after reboot the word Samsung in the middle and a bar in the bottom. and nothing happen after that I think the problem from the version of Firmware

ODIN version : v4.03

I am from Saudi Arabia (Medial east), please can anyone suggest the best firmware for my country

You probably won't want to update the firmware to 2.1 because there's no Arabic support. If you're okay with that, then follow this guide. I followed it and it was super easy:
