Go launcher help

I'm currently using a galaxy s 4g. I recently downloaded go launcher ex and every time I click okn it's icon nothing happens. I can't open it to customize anything. Please help!! I'm new to android

I would suggest try uninstalling it, and then re-installing it.

I am currently using Go launcher and it worked fine for me for the download.


make sure when you do get it to work, you check the "use this for default" and then select the go launcher.

I reinstalled it and when I click the icon it still just returns me to the home screen

clear your defaults for launcher, then set go launcher as default.

I think that it is set as the default launcher because the icons change, but I don't know where to go to customize anything. I assumed I just tap the icon but it does nothing

Are you tapping the home button? Go launcher is a home replacement app and it activates when you tap the home button.

To clear defaults, go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications and find the app for which you want to clear defaults. Tap the app icon and there is a button on the right about two thirds of the way down that reads "Clear defaults". Tap that button to clear defaults for that app.

Long press the widget from your homescreen and a little menu pops up.

Okay so I got it to work, but when I try to add a widget to the home screen it says failed. How do I add icons to the home screen when using go launcher??
