Hey fellas.
I've accepted this for a long time but now I'm curious as to why Google Navigation doesn't speak street names. All I get is "in 200 meters, turn left" or "take the exit on the right". It's always generic.
My friend also has an android phone and his actually speaks the names out ("in 400 meters turn left at Yonge Street" etc.)
Why is my phone having these issues? I go directly into "Navigation" (blue arrow icon) on my phone and launch it from there. Should I be going into "Maps" first or what???
I'm using an HTC Incredible S with Android 2.3.3.
Do I have to pay and install a voice pack or something? Please shed some light on this!
Thanks :wavey:
