got my first droid

hey everyone. I'm new here to the forums. Just got my first droid on sunday. I have the Droid 2 from Verizon. I'm very impressed with this phone. It's taken me a bit to get used to it but I haven't put it down yet. Anyone know of some beginning apps I should get?

What type of apps are you looking for? So many in general and then you have device specific which would be recommended for the device.

Honestly I'm just curious what everyone else is using so I can judge from there. I like alot of things so I'm sure theres plenty of apps to find lol

Well here is few we all use, now I can't speak for all bit here is some you might like.

Adfree - name says it all for freeware but you don't need it as you can do it manually via hosts file.

Terminal Emulator - console based command shell.

ShootMe - to take screenshots.

Root Explorer - one of the best file browsers.

AppInstaller - package manager to handle apk files.

There are so many get what you like but don't loss it with 10K packages Lol.
