Would that be something similar to what I use know with the Touch Pro 2 only coming out the charging part instead of the HDMI?

Yes. My choice of words was poor. There is hope for a cable that will have the plug to connect to your charging/sync port (not the HDMI) on one end and have composite video on the other end. To me, this seems like something that would have a reasonable amount of demand and would be very cheap to produce (and easy to make a profit!), so I would suspect we will see something shortly.

Just an update thank you to all of you who helped with my movie dilemma. Just got finished using DVD43 and handbrake to get 300 onto my phone. It looks amazing and way better than my itouch thank you all so much thats one to check off of the list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
