March Madness 2024

March madness is right around the corner. Here are the important dates to keep in mind.

Here is the schedule for March Madness 2024, which begins with Selection Sunday on March 17, 2024:

• Selection Sunday: Sunday, March 17
• First Four: March 19-20
• First round: March 21-22
• Second round: March 23-24
• Sweet 16: March 28-29
• Elite Eight: March 30-31
• Final Four: Saturday, April 6 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
• NCAA championship game: Monday, April 8 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

I have no plans to play in a group for fun or money again this year. I always fill out a bracket and did so last year without being competitive about it. It's always fun to see just how poorly I pick the winners.
My son watches zero basketball and almost always has a better bracket.

yeah i have not watched much NCAA basketball this year. i only have watched on and off UCLA basketball. they are really young and are just starting to come around. i hipe they make it in this year. i do not think they will go very deep into the tourney though.....but they will be fun to watch.

It's pretty hard to look beyond Houston this year. It's always crazy and I'm never any good at picking.

I at least opened a bracket on Yahoo today. I've not filled it out yet but I will most likely do that later today. I'm not playing in a group this year but it's always fun to fill out a bracket or two. I always stink and rarely fare well even in small groups. To hide my lack of skill or good guessing, I'll silently play.

I filled out my bracket and thought about pulling a few more but decided to heck with it. I didn't even bother to pull on on ESPN this year. I'm just no all caught up in it like normal. Let the games begin! I love watching the games. It's the do or die of the tournament that makes it so entertaining. I don't really have a favorite team that will go deep in the tournament this year but I'll watch it all the same.

It was a rough opening day for me. I only picked ten of sixteen correct today. I hope it isn't quite so dismal tomorrow.

I'm afraid that yesterday was just a sample of how poorly I picked this year. I honestly think it's getting harder each year for the teams are better and the bracketing makes all the games a big question mark.
I made six wrong picks again today. I have a whopping 20 teams correctly picked to play in the sweet sixteen round. Man I'm stinkin up the place. I'm sure glad I don't have any money riding on my bracket.

I managed to get seven of eight into the sweet sixteen today. If I can just do that good tomorrow I'll be back in business. I'd love to have 14 of the 16 playing next week.

While I'm not a March Madness fan, I think what makes March Madness so popular is underdogs knocking off much higher rated teams

It's interesting to watch from a basketball fan. It's often the different styles of the game going head to head that helps the underdog win games. Matchups... it's all about the matchups.

I managed to get thirteen teams into the sweet sixteen. Certainly nothing to brag about but at least it isn't embarrassingly dismal.

I had a chance to get all of my picks into the elite eight round. Tonight I only got one of four in. It was a bad night lol. My champion still survives but they play tomorrow. Oh well. Typical picks for me.

This just is not my year to pick winners in March Madness. My champ is still alive but I have only three of eight in the elite round. Pretty darn sad.

I'm not a Basketball fan, but the local news is full of Illinois has made the Elite 8

It's a big deal to make the elite eight. The tournament is a meat grinder and survival comes hard. You should be proud of your team. Kansas went out in their second game.

The last time I watched Basketball is when Jordan was with the Bulls, and in the playoffs.

The last time I watched the NBA I was a Boston fan and a big fan of Larry Bird.

All I need now is for Purdue to lose to Tennessee this afternoon. That would be fitting being as I have them picked to win it all. What a miserable year lol.

My sister is still a big fan. I got over the NBA years ago. College basketball is still fun for me. Different strokes....

Big game today drawing a lot of attention is Women's Basketball Iowa vs undefeated South Carolina at 2pm cst on ABC for the Championship

Saw Illini game twice because it was weather or not if my sister got a day off from her work before easter, was okay game, also Iowa game girl basektball game, was okay, still not a fan of sports.
