Root Phone wont boot help

well im not rooted i didnt try to flash any roms, its basically stock. i never changed recovery or anything like that.

what happened was i was installing an apk and it sort of froze right there and i pulled my battery. i turned on and right after phone talks "virgin mobile" it goes black and does not do anything.

is there some sort of button combination to access the stock recovery and then from there factory reset the phone???

nevermind here are the commands for stock recovery

RECOVERY:
vol-up/vol-dn (same time) + power on
home soft button toggles menu on and off
volume up/down moves in the menu
back soft button selects
