Root Selling my phone-Problems with Jelly Bean! :(

I no longer need my esteem so I sold it ebay. It has rom #2 flashed, MS910-ZVD, and the JellyBean theme flashed. However I didn't want to sell the phone with my personal information and passwords on it so I wiped the internal sd card then did a factory reset through CWM. When I booted the phone again (through Holo Launcher) the phone was missing it's stock messaging app. Does anyone know how to recover this as I'm probably selling the phone to a person inexperienced with rooting.

All I'm missing is the messaging app, everything else works fine, please help thanks

Just grab an MMS from a stock esteem ROM and push it to your device system/apps that's it.... Let me know if you have it if not I'll upload for you..

Tell them to download root explorer, then send them the MMS.apk. Put MMS.apk on the SD card, then use root explorer to copy MMS.apk on the SD card and paste it to system>app folder. Then reboot.

best thing you can do is boot to recovery, do a full wipe of EVERYTHING then flash the rom and power off, so now the new user will get it in "fresh-out-the-box" state requiring them to go through the set-up proccess none of your info will be on it

flash the rom AFTER you wipe data & cache, the mms should be there man lol

But don't flash the theme, the Jellybean theme removes my mms.apk also

can always flash the ick theme, made by me.. specifically for #2 rom lol
