Help skype problem on galaxy s 9000

I have andoid firmware version 2.2 i can not install this app from AppBrain Android Market - find the best Android Apps and Games :-( this messages pop always up
( NOT FOUND The requested item could not be found )
can anybody help me please

really don't know what to say, it seems to be a regional problem. I had no problems finding skype in the market here in the Netherlands...

you could try navigating to the skype website with your mobile and try to download it there. Also they have an option "download through SMS". Either way you should be able to get it through the website.

Let us know how it goes.

I have just tried it and if you go to the skype website with your phone and go to the mobile section, you should scroll down to where they ask you "Have a different phone" follow the link and you should be sorted.

Or he can use a program called Orbot, Its a proxy it will change the ISB to germany so he can use the market and download any program he need.

It happend to me and that's what i do most the time.

You can download it from here. Right Click and save as.

Also you need to put the gpg inside your SD card download it from here. Right click and save as

If you dont know how to install the app from your phone then you need any file manegar like Astro to install it.

Yeah, you get that message because Nimbuzz is not allowed to offer Skype anymore.
Skype pulled the plug on Nimbuzz last month.

Skype works FINE for galaxy s.
The reason why it doesnt work for you is due towhere you are from.
Even say you did get skype running from another source. The service will not be available to you anyways due to your country blocking the service. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PHONE.
