Ugh I don't know what to do. I am like the others above and can upgrade on 12/27. Should I just get it from Amazon now? Verizon has it for 299 I think now so even with my loyalty it won't be as cheap as Amazon. But 149 minus my loyalty discount would be crazy awesome if Amazon keeps the price as it is now. What to do?!
Maybe I will send Verizon another e-mail and see if they will bump me up a week early. They said no before but that was like a over a month ago. What is eight days?
Was thinking about doing the same thing. Tried like crazy to get it when it came out and had to wait. Shocked Verizon didn't bend over backwards for me like they always have...hoping to get a great deal for Xmas
I've never bought a cell phone from Amazon. My wife and I currently have the unlimited data plan, unlimited texting 700 Minutes etc. etc. Can we get our phones through Amazon and keep our current plan? We are both eligible for an upgrade (Droid Eris now) want the Rezound.
So my upgrade isn't supposed to happen until 12/27. I checked Amazon Wireless today and it's letting me upgrade! It will be cheaper than Verizon with my $30 NE2 and there's no sales tax! So excited! Merry Christmas to me.

Did you have to call Verizon and request to keep your current plan, or did it automatically roll over? Unless I missed it, I didn't see any information on Amazon indicating that I would have to contact Verizon to request keeping the unlimited data plan.
I finally got Am Wir to work and check my eligibility, but they say I am not eligible. When I talked to VZW CSR yesterday, they said I am indeed eligible because I am a primary account holder and I can upgrade anytime after 1 year.
So that must be a VZW deal that Amazon can't tap into. So I'll wait until Dec 29 and hopefully I can still get the $150 price.
Anyone try calling or going to Verizon with Amazons price and asking them to match it? Amazon is letting me upgrade early, (only a week), wondering if we can get this deal in store...they've been real good to me through the years with deals...maybe I'll give them a shout see what they say.
I tried to persuade them into the deal of all deals but it was a no-go. They were super helpful, gave me the details of the online deal and what the fine print all boiled down to...most of which I already knew from right here. Any problems after a couple weeks and bring it in. I don't expect any, I've had the same original Incredible since it's launch and love it...time for bigger and better. Order is placed, will have it next week. (couldn't find overnight shipping!)
I could no longer resist the $149 Amazon deal. I wanted to wait until after the first of the year, but I can't forsee a better deal than this anytime soon. Especially for an upgrade. I would be pissed if I went to buy in January, and couldn't get this price. Delivery is supposed to be the 28th.
I dont think the amazon deal is going to end... hopefully. I think thats just the price of the phone now, especially since the Nexus came out. I'm gonna hold out until its down to $99. I really dont want it until its rooted anyway, so why spend the extra money when I am still pretty happy with my rooted DINC. Just want some of the 4G speed...

I am pretty much in the same frame of mind as you. Plus, I keep seeing things about this HTC fireball phone and I would be interested in seeing what that is all about first.
