Root GPS Fix?

Hey Guy's I'm sure there is a million threads but how do I go about getting the GPS to work on Google Maps? It keeps stating "Searching For GPS" even though it does indicate drive directions and my location?

gps is a known issue on this device. im sure some people can share some helpful programs that help, but bottom line....it sucks

yeah its worth the sacrifice imo....but then again i dont use gps on my phone ever

Yeah. It has worked for me and quite a few others on XDA. There's another way, however, that involves changing the GPS settings (probably what GPS Booster actually does). That's really the best way, but I had already bought GPS Booster and it's been working consistently for me, so I just stayed with that method. Here's the link:
