Help how to trun on with out power button

Is the phone still under warranty? If so I would recommend having LG to fix or replace the phone. But hopfuly someone will be able to better help you.

if somehow you can get it on once you can root it and and remap the hardkeys. Like say for instance change the camera button to power. But if it's still under warranty I would send it in.

So you will have to root your phone...if you can turn it on.

Plug in your charger and when it is on the black and white LG screen, take the charger out. The phone will boot up.

I like to charge my phone while it's off but seems like every time I power down then plug it in it turns on which is annoying for me but if it works perfect for all of you.

That is a problem with the cm7 rom, yup it bugged me too.

My power button broke, as in just doesnt turn the phone on - no water damage. Sprint is shipping a new one, but will take 3 days, and my phone locked up and shut off about an hour ago. What a life saver since i dont have a house phone, and i use my cell for work (consultant). WAY TO GO GOOGLE AND ANDROID FORUMS!

That didn't work for me. If I unplug it on the LG screen it just turns off.

Tried it on my galaxy wont work batteries full and still nothing the sprint store turned it on once and said it will work but next time battery died wouldn't turn back on.
