To be honest, that's not red, nor is the black one truly black. Black is defined as the absence of all color, which prevents it from reflecting anything. Red is represented by the 640-700 nm wavelength of the visible Spectrum. the device pictured is clearly reflecting wavelengths ~630.
I think the poll should be changed from red or black to plum or charcoal. I mean, really, if we can't describe colors properly, why have them at all?
