Rooting the phone maybe the only way.
But I can't find any guides for this phone at the moment

well today some how i have locked myself out

now i have to take it to the store again to get it re flashed ( dont know if its 2.2 ( if they down grade it im gonna moan! )) so il update you on that

Is it true that if you root this phone you will be unable to do a recovery as the process of rooting deletes it. And that their is no ROM's for this phone at the moment? so no recovery at all

nope no roms for the phone , just got it back from 3 and read the technicians notes
"The handset has been replaced with a new one"
