I'm curious as to why YOU did.

Oh, I wrote up a review in the Rezound forum and didn't want to repeat it all here.. But here..

This is just my initial impressions so take it for what it's worth. I remember getting the Inc and using it the first 24 hours. I can pretty much say within that period of time how I am going to like something. The Inc was an excellent experience. Given that for me, the Rezound is the complete opposite. It is pretty snappy and does have a very nice screen. However the rest of my experience is not good enough for me to keep this thing. I will not get used to the 4.3" screen..(Biggest Issue) If smartphones are headed in this direction, I don't know what I am going to do. Given the fact that I found myself just using it the way I used my Inc, (which is expected) I don't really notice a big difference from my Inc. I had to reboot this device 2x in less than 5 hours because after sitting for a period of time it lost connection to my Wi-Fi and would not reconnect. Reboot was the only thing that would fix it. If using it for any length of time it started to get very warm. I know there are a lot of different options on the battery and how long is good and what not, but after a full change by noon and then playing around with it, I was down to 20% after an afternoon. I have a cabin up north and go to a lot of places where my phone is searching for signals; I think this phone would die very quickly. I will not by an extended battery and make the phone even bigger. Like I said, the size for ME is already an issue. Again.. just my opinion just trying to be honest. At this point with what is out there, I either stay with the Inc, which is what I am going back to, get an iPhone4s, or go back to a normal basic phone. I hope these phone companies start to make some phones that are a bit smaller like the Inc... :(

I was truly hoping going into this upgrade that I would be able to get used to the size and be happy about it. Can't do it..4.3" is just not for everybody I guess.

Seem like this guy has some of the same issues.(skater57)

Ok I love this phone except for a few things

Battery life: it been really horrible lately and charges really slow also dies at 10% don't know why though

High pitch screaching with headphones

Battery cover is kind of creeky

The phone gets super hot almost to hot to hold for too long

The capacitive buttons light leeks onto the edges of the phone and slightly on the screen

WiFi disconnects or doesn't work right after a couple hours

Other than that this is a great phone

:O And I'm thinking of getting the Rezound when i can upgrade from my DInc, hmm

do what I did, you can test drive the thing for a few weeks and take it back if you don't like it. I had a feeling I was not going to like the 4.3" device. Then all the little other things I came across in just one day gave me a very bad attitude with it. The store I go to has a 3 day no restocing fee, and after that it is $30 I believe. But if you take it back within that time your account reverts back to your previous status and you can just upgrade to another device or choose to wait. I happen to really still love my Inc... Those big phones do not interest me. The only thing I have even thought about is maybe the iPhone4s...

Yeah thats what i will do, thanks for the heads up, i was looking to change the DInc because of its battery life, and im tired of having the big extended battery on it. But it sounds like its the same with the Rezound so i dont know anymore!

Well The battery for lasts through the day.I am able to use it all day and game on it some and whatnot and I have never had it die on me yet. I was at the hospital visiting my daughter till 8:30 pm from when I turned it on at 4:30 am still had 30% battery left. I also find a few things that bug me about this phone but I will get used to it and when I can root it i can get those things sorted out.
Like when you go from portrait to landscape while texting the back arrow option to delete a letter or just move your cursor back wont work till you switch back to portrait. That and the speakers suck on this phone. My inc had much better sound.
But I do like the size and it doesn't seem to large for me.

wow that surprised me, about the speakers, since most of the buzz on this phone its because of its beats integration thing..

That surprises me too. I loved my Dinc.. except for the speakers. I had four units in two years and they all lacked a bit in the speaker department. Other than that it was way and by far the best phone I've ever owned. I now have the Rezound and find the speaker quality far above that of my Dincs. I've said a number of times that the Rezound is like a Dinc on steroids lol. It will take two years for the Rezound to prove it's the device the Dinc was. I have confidence it's the phone that can do that but only time will tell.

played with the rezound in the store for about an hour along with the GN, while the display is beautiful on both, still preferred to keep my rooted inc as I like the smaller size and all the tweeks I have done to customize it...regards to the beats on the rezound, if you like that feature, you can get almost the same effect for headphones at the market plus also increase both volume and bass on the inc which improved my sound dramatically both on speakers, headphones and bluetooth speakers all with separate settings (requires gingerbread), plus you can get much better headphones than the beats that come with the rezound if you are really into music.... just got my daugher the iPhone 4S for christmas..... very impressive phone even though I prefer my inc but for her the ease of use and integration with itunes, etc make it a breeze to use, also very impressive battery life, needless to say she loves it and is now a total fanboy or fangirl as she also has a mac...lol
