Not necessarily. It all depends on what type of qhd they used. There is a huge difference between the moto qhd and others with pixelation. Not to mention if it is 4" then it would be much harder to see.

I believe that the Motos use pentile, even for their LCDs, yes? That will make a difference as well.

It has been widely know by most that the Incredible 4G is identical to the HTC One S other than body style and now we have the smoking gun proof.

The Incredible 4G has a 4.3" screen.

There is no doubt about this as even there is no such thing as a 4" AMOLED qHD display manufactured by any screen manufacturer out there. Yes I have checked. No screen manufacturer makes 4" qHD AMOLED screens.

This could be the first of that type?

Im sorry but no, no manufacturer produces a 4" qHD screen. I checked all the offering from all screen manufacturers as this has been bugging me for a while now.

Not only that but the One S release date is April 25th just one day before the Incredible 4G. This is because they are the exact same phones just different body styles.

Clearly if this was the first it wouldn't be on the site of any manufacturer yet. Not saying it won't be 4.3" but just saying

I'd say from a business standpoint, a 4.3" is the best bet. By going with 4.3" on all of their One S variants, they can save money through economies of scale. No sense in making a 4" screen just for one version.

But since they are using slcd 2 and amoled they still will be paying more since it isn't all the same type of screens across the board.

I think the phone on the left is one of the original leaked photos of the DInc4g which did all have the 4-key layout. If that is so, the pic isn't not the DInc4g, but it also isn't the most updated photo...

EDIT:
It has been widely know by most that the Incredible 4G is identical to the HTC One S other than body style and now we have the smoking gun proof...

If you'll notice, they are definitely NOT the same phone. The camera is in a different place, flash on opposite sides and the curve at the edge of the phone is much more pronounced on the HTC One S.
They are similar at best.

Yes they are the same.

HTC uses the exactsame parts for the Incredible 4G and the One S just configured in a different body style. This is the exact same case as with the original Nexus One and Original incredible. They were the exact same phones only configured in a different body styles for different wireless carries (T-Mobile and Verizon). Add in the fact that both the One S and Incredible 4G are being released at the same time (April 25th for One S and April 26th for Inc. 4G)

Also note that the 4" screen in the Inc2 is 16:10 ratio.

qHD screen ratio is 16:9 which means that a 4" qHD screen would be SMALLER screen than the 4" in the Inc2. There is no way HTC will put in a smaller screen in the Incredible 4G. This is further proof that the screen is indeed 4.3" Even further more, a 4" qHD AMOLED display does not even exist and is not produced by any screen manufacturer, you can check all the offerings from screen manufacturers, no such thing.....(smoking gun proof :p)

I think everyone needs to just face the facts and proof that the screen on the Incredible 4G is in fact 4.3" there is no denying this anymore.

Im not sure what the phone on the left is, but it isn't the Inc 4g. All of the pics, and with ICS show it with 3 buttons and not 4. I am all for it being a 4.3" screen, but this isn't a pic of it. http://cdn.androidpolice.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/wm_4.jpg showing a screenshot of the specs of the phone, and if you look on the bottom, only 3 buttons.
Its the same phone just an earlier pic of it as stated before. Simply google pictures of the Incredible 4G and you will see for yourself. Version 3 has the 3-button layout

I think we would all appreciate some proof other than you just saying they have all the same parts. Otherwise your "smoking gun" is just smoke. You typing something doesn't make it true. Care to give some evidence?
I would also argue that just because a device carries the same screen (not verified) and same processor (not verified as far as I've seen) or the same amount of memory does not mean it is the same device. Release date has nothing to do with it either.
Many Ford vehicles share engines, brake drums, and transmissions but that does not mean they are the same vehicle.

Please give some evidence for the claims you're making.

Thank you!

Processor has already been confirmed, you know there are already Incredible 4G benchmarks showing the S4. Google will show dozens of websites hosting the benchmarks.

Also, Im not sure you clicked on the picture in the OP. The phones are incidental dimensions with identical screen placements and identical logo placements. They are indeed the same phones just like the Nexus One and Inc 1 were the exact same phones.

I know this is disappointing to the people who wanted a 4" screen but as stated before a 4" 16:9 qHD screen would be SMALLER than the 4" WVGA 16:10 screen on the incredible 2.

I really only have a problem with the statement that they are the EXACT same phones. I admit I am nit picking here (maybe) but these are not the exact same phone if they are assemble differently and have different software, not to mention different radios (and who knows what else).
I can understand they share many specs and parts, but they do not share them all.
They may be very similar, granted. They are not the EXACT same phone.

I am however glad to see the DInc4G has a 4.3" screen. That is good news in my book!

Kinda sounds like Incredible4G made a new screen name...
