Where do I find these older versions of gapps? I went back to page one and saw only one choice (the one I used).

I have already dl'd my appps and got them squared away so this is for 'future reference'

You mean the 0422 gapps? Or what are you referring to?

No the 0322 Gapps. Now that I have done all of the work that 0422 didn't do automagically, will installing 0317 help in any other ways or should I just keep what I've got now that everything has been manually installed?

Here's how I understand it.

0317 backup will not restore when you've flashed 0422 gapps.

0422 backup should work with future gapps (until they decide to screw with the market name/etc again).

On a sort of related note: lcd density modder pro does NOT work with the 0422 gapps. I really hate this market incompatibility crap. GRR.

Ugh, it's not gapps 0422. I flashed the 0317 gapps and LCD Density Modder Pro's market compatibility fix still doesn't work. It must be something in M5. Argh.

I am a dirty boy! From 34 did a nandroid. wiped cache and dalvik. Installed Rom and gapps. Rebooted..installed inverted gapps. Running fine so far.

Not sure if I will stay on faux 16 or go back to lean. Battery is the key here. I can never seem to get more than 10-12 hours no matter what I do. I sync lots of stuff..3 email and calendar accounts...Twitter and facebook (2 hour sync)..google +...news and weather.

Flashed dirty over b34 and had FC on Rom Control, no contacts images and pink tint to everything (which was probably easily fixed). My weather and toggle widgets were hanging.... same issues (except pink) as in the past when I didn't wipe. I just wiped 3 of the last 4 builds so I'm sticking with b34 for now. Maybe later this week I'll revisit this. I've been wiping a lot with my HP Touchpad with AOKP too so don't feel like going to all the work today.

I went dirty also, seems to be working well...

Went from stock since day 1 on Wednesday to rooted.

I'm running M5 with 4.0.4 radios and everything seems very smooth. Haven't tried out any kernels or themes yet.

I asked the same question and it didn't seem that many were. I know jbdan said he used it on his wifes.

I decided to stick with what I know, for the time being, until I hear of people using it and loving it. At least with CWM I know what I am doing and I am used to it.

just fix the pink by tuning your gamma - was my final resolution after numerous attempts at no wipe flashing

Thanks, I figured it was gamma or color. I'm more worried about contacts (and weather app).

Have company yet today so thought I'd check it out later.

It seems like no recovery other than CWMR Touch Beta 5 can make a backup for me. Anyone have any clues?

yea i saw the red text, but my question was any real world noticeable advancements not trying to be ass just asking thats all, to put it in another context its like trading in a 2012 mustang for a 2013 mustang - no point cus theres no real world changes there... Im a car guy just finished watching topgear lol

We don't think you're an a55 just wanted to point out the changelog since it lists all the changes and the requisites for flashing per the dev. :burnout:
