First I'm getting excellent battery life. Second with the current build (didn't try with the other two) my goods is working at all. I enabled it and it shows it is on but whenever I go to navigation it just constantly searches for location. Whenever I try to do it from maps it will look for my location and then roughly in one minute it will just tell me that it failed to find my location.

I just tried out the latest version during lunch. I couldn't get the gesture typing to work (has this been mentioned already?)

I rebooted, and also turned gesture typing off, and back on...and still nothing.

It actually goes through the gesture motions, with the blue gesture trail, but no words or letters appear in the text field. Standard typing works just fine. Am I alone in this, or are others experiencing it too?

Anyone else getting poor battery life with this rom?

gobucks2k3, I too experienced a hard drop in battery life. Chairshot is digging into to it but I think the colporate was non other than a crappy written Facebook app, surprise surprise. From 11:30pm to 6:00am here is the drop. You may want to check for a rouge app using battery monitor.

Just used it and it worked great. Make sure the MD5's match on the ROM to make sure you didn't get a bad download.

You may want to check for a rouge app using battery monitor.

How do you use Battery Monitor to determine which app is using power? Or did you mean, look at the history and notice a trend of excessive usage indicating that an app has gone rogue while not being able to tell which one is using it?

I'm going to drill into Battery Monitor and see if I can find a log of apps, and power usage while waiting to hear back from you, or anyone who has knowledge of this sort of thing.

Installed yesterday. Everything was running great. I just rebooted and now I'm stuck in a boot loop. I've rebooted several times with no issues. I had not made any changes or installed anything new prior to this reboot.
Any way to get out of a boot loop like that?

Go into Bootloader>Recovery and reflash again.
(Remove battery, put baterry back again, hold on vol down, and power up while holding both. Select Recovery).

Bootlooped once again, this time I didn't even touch the reboot button. Happened at the same time, I started up my phone and it never got past the boot screen. Immediately took it to the computer to get logs, and both came up with a Permission Denied error. I made a backup of /system in hopes of keeping any logs, know where I would find them? Had to reflash, just hope it doesn't happen again...

Excellent ROM, just downloaded the latest update but haven't installed yet. Does seem more stable and slightly better battery than Wild for the night. One question that I'm not too sure about the subject matter. I know voicemail doesn't have working notification and I was looking through XDA forum and seems like some use google voice for voicemail. Tried setting it up and it wouldn't work, which seems to be a problem with virgin mobile not letting you do conditional call forwarding? So I change my voicemail service back to my carrier and go into setup to change the phone number, but it wont actually set a different number... Any ideas?? Again awesome ROM though, I would never expect to be using 4.2.2 on my phone!

so if i am correct the right way to install is: wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache +dalvik, format all partitions (except sdcard). then install from sdcard/choose zip from sdcard: cm-10.1-20130313.zip. then then install from sdcard/choose zip from sdcard:gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip. When all done Reboot?

but what about if i am just updating up to the new build? do i have to just wipe cache+dalvik then install build or am i wrong?

ps. i am using 4EXT recovery touch

Pretty much spot on. However you can choose format all partitions except sd card and it will wipe everything necessary. The other items you mentioned get wiped with that option. As far as updates, it really depends on what gets updated. It's best just to ask in a specific rom thread for the specific update. If it's a small update what you asked is usually fine (dirty flash) . If it's a bigger update (new kernel or android version) you basically want to wipe everything (clean install)

Formatting all partitions except the sd card option wipes everything so you don't need to do the other wipe options?

I am longer able to build this rom from source. After I did a repo sync (from my last sync for the 3/10/13 build) it says something about removing unnecessary devices and spat out a rather long list of devices (including shooter) unfortunately I lost what it spat out and cant paste it here. But now when i attempt to build i get the following error:
** Don't have a product spec for: 'cm_shooter'
** Do you have the right repo manifest?
