texts wont go out

I need help I don't know about this stuff my texts will not go out. I may have deleted the android 2.3.6 system. Well one of 3. Does anyone have like an upgrade or reinstall or restore for this???

If you're not comfortable with rooting the phone then a phone shop should be able to install a new system on your phone for you.

Everything on phone works except the texts don't go out. When you say rooting the phone is that like factory default? There is like 3 android systems in my settings under applications. One of them has 0 data. This is just a guess. I think there were only 2 androids in the running section. And there still is. If I have to root as you say. Can I save my apps and info ? Can anyone send directions. And Most of all THANK YOU for answering

What happens when your trying to send a text? Do you get an error message? Are you able to receive? Is is specific to an area? Any 3rd party messaging apps?

Amarie82. It has a little red flag that pops up and says text not sent. I am recieveing texts just fine and everything else works fine. I may have accidentally deleted a piece of operating system. Not sure. But one of them in settings says 0 for data. I am wondering if I can upgrade if that would reinstall op sys. But if I root or default. I wiill lose everythning. I need this to talk to my little girrl. And text is what I use most Thank You for answeri ng

If It says 0 data then depending on what you cleared just reset some settings. When was the last time you were able to text? I would clear out all failed SMS how good is your signal? Do you use any signal booster at home? What did you clear data on?

Hmm, does you device get any signal? Did it get activated through your carrier when you bought it?

Thank you for help. Now after 3 day it works again. I found out some stuff that may help others. First if you do delete a systems apps data. As I thought I may have. The systems part keeps the applications need data that runs it I tried this on some others and while it will delete the data it keeps what it needs to run. This phone is kyocera milano. And I do like it esspecially key board. I am not young and i this is first technology I've ever had. Second I called boost mobile 3 times and they never gave me straight answer if there was worrk in area. If you hav@e problems insist on that. Thank you again Everyone for help and support. I presumed you had already rooted and deleted something from the Android operating system because you said you might enjoy accidently deleted the system. It seems this is not the case here.

When I had very little data on my phones memory, which you might be calling "system" I couldn't receive texts or email until I moved some application data to my external SD Card.
You mentioned having zero data on one of your "systems", maybe you mean it has no data on it left? If so that might be the reason why you can't send text.
