Ordered mine on 5/10
5/11 the website changed the order status to: "Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days."
Waited home 5/13 and 5/14, no show. Used my last day off thinking it would come on the 14th. Called big red and it went something like this:
Me: Your website says I should receive my order by 5/14, but I never received a tracking number from you, can you check and see where the phone currently is?
VZ: One moment please...(jazzy hold music)
VZ: I'm sorry sir, your phone has not shipped yet. You can expect it to ship by 5/29.
Me: ....what?
Me: Okay, I know things get sold out on big hits like this, but the website says Receive, not "sitting in a warehouse thinking about being shipped"--isn't that a little misleading?
VZ: It's just an automated message sir.
Me: I think you're missing my point, I was eager to receive the phone, but its not the end of the world. I guess what I'm getting at is that a little more heads up would have been nice, and perhaps more accurate automated messages? I am frustrated that I used my last day off for this month, but I'll manage.
VZ: (Generally annoyed that I didn't take to well to the automated messages being a tad misleading, says his closing message...etc)
So there was my situation so far, fun fun! Looking back I guess I was a bit abrasive with the CS rep. I'm generally a easygoing person, I'm not sure if I was a little too aggressive with them, it's not their fault I misunderstood that message, but boy was I pissed that day!
Still waiting on a FedEx tracking #.
Oh, almost forgot. I live in the north eastern part of Maryland.
