QIK back on the Android Market BUT......

^ I'm getting the same thing with the blue qik. With the orange qik I can log in but then then the connection state keeps cycling from offline->connecting->online->offline.....when i try to stream/record.

They've had a good bit of time to test this software and it's completely useless at this point. I mean i'm supposed to make video calls with their software?!? Hello fring.

The blue now works to stream live video, but as far as video calling, not so much. I would recommend Fring.. Works great.

how do you get fring to work? I installed fring on both my and my wife's Evo but when I try to call via skype out, it says to include the country code. I'm in the US so don't I just add the 1 in front of her cell #? Never made voip calls before.

curious. were you not able to stream with the orange logo? also to others who have installed the one from the market, do you see two qik icons also?

Yes, I get two logos, one orange, one blue. I didn't really see any added functionality with blue... I just downloaded and installed fring and its very obvious how to do video chat. Qik is worthless.

I was NOT able to stream using the orange logo. It would record video, but I never got the streaming confirmation I got with the blue. I was on my qik site, and it was like I was doing nothing... The blue allowed me to see what I was streaming on the computer..

they changed the Qik app on the marketplace, if you guys were lucky and got the old "Qik for HTC EVO 4G" , that version .52 (i believe) had the video calling feature.

They eventually pulled it for a day, and put the newer "Qik Video" now..and that doesnt seem to work and gives us 2 Qik icons. 1 orange (default) and 1 blue (new Qik Video).

Do you have that working one installed? If so we can try to find a way to back it up and download it
