Help [Official] OTA update thread

Under my "system update" screen it is saying "Android System Update Waiting to download...." "This update is 23.3 MB. To continue the download, select a WI-FI network. Via WI-FI only until Oct 17."

I switched to WIFI but this is still the same message I get. Never seen this before. Anyone know what gives???

I didn't have that exact issue, however I had to run that small security update twice for it to finally take. Reboot and try again?

Reboot didn't work. I even tried to turn off mobile data and put phone in airplane mode.
Interesting.. Are you on work / public or home wi-fi? Is your N6 carrier branded or from Google directly? I have the Verizon model, got tired of waiting for OTA so after the security update, mine went to 5.1.1 LMY48T and from there I just flashed the full image. So far, 6 days and no issues. Decided to leave BL unlocked and rooted so I could turn on that darn hidden notification LED.

Got the OTA update to Marshmallow this evening on EE in the UK. All up and running now, will have a play tomorrow.

Have noticed they have change the Do Not Disturb mode again. This now no long works off the volume rockers and is accessed from the swipe down x2 menu. We are now back to a type of mute function from the volume rockers, hold down till at the bottom and then one more press for mute.

Well, I caved and updated via ADB and Fastboot...for those waiting, I've been off the charger for 7.5 hours and still have 89% of my battery remaining. The new features around battery life seem to have a HUGE positive impact. It shows I still have 2 days remaining. :) I have used the phone about like normal and have talked on it for about 30 minutes.

Finally gave up waiting for Verizon and sideloaded the OTA today using WugFresh. Ran into a couple issues but got it working in the end. So far it seems flawless! Now contemplating whether or not I should unlock the bootloader and turn off encryption using the new FED Patcher tool.

BTW. for those on Verizon I heard a rumor that the OTA is supposed to start November 1. This info supposedly came from a Verizon tech support rep, but who knows with these things. Glad I went ahead and sideloaded, as the waiting was really starting to bother me after dropping $$$ on a Nexus.
