Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

FM radio sucks, I never listen to it. And they certainly would never play any Yes or Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I receive a local FM station that is pretty religious at staying within their given genre. However the channel is commercial supported and supported well. To the point that it becomes annoying with the frequency of such. The DJs seem to be just doing their job and late night their segments are often re-aired from a recorded session you've already heard. For a short commute the channel is okay. For an extended listening period it's simply hard to take. Far less than entertaining. I moved on.

sadly it costs me 10 dollars a month - which honestly I think is a little high but meh.

Now that SiriusXM owns Pandora, there are plenty of choices ... now if they'd only come out with some decent music.

DJ being replaced by algorithm makes me grind my teeth. True DJs do not repeat a script, they create moods.

clear channel media controlling 70% or whatever of the US FM radio and Iheart radio and whatever else they own is more of a pisser.

Ok another thing I hate is slow drivers in the fastlane on the freeway. Don't they know that slower traffic is to the right?

Speaking of Sirius XM, it does have some decent down to earth music, got to try LItte Steven's Underground rock and roll station, Classic Vynl, Deep Tracks.

shopping carts. no one ever puts them in the right place. some a hole left their cart right in the back of my car. i had to put the cart where they are supposed to go. it took like 10 seconds to move it. COME ON PEOPLE STOP WASTING MY TIME!!!!!!!!

Scooters are great, especially when there's more of them than any other vehicle. But scooter traffic jams do suck.

I tripped over a scooter left in a random location before the scooter company ever announced they'd be leaving them around. Companies dumping their products in my neighborhood Really Grind My Gears.

What sort of "scooter" are you referring to? Because I know the electric ones, that can usually carry two people. These are usually about the size of small motorcycle, but step-thru design. And some resemble a jet ski. And hardly likely to trip over one, unless drunk or something? LOL

Are these for public rental, where you unlock and are billed via an app on your phone? What company is it?
They tried public rental electric scooters in Beijing, but the scheme was dead within three months.
All the electric scooters around here are privately owned, and they're usually parked in designated areas, just like cars.
