Can't download apps

I got to this forum when looking to upgrade to Android 4. Following instructions I've been trying to download Ask Mr Pigfish but can't get it to download. This has happened to me in the past, but I don't know what was done to makae downloads work again. I have a San Francisco 2.

Can somebody suggest something, please?

No - the app is compatible with my San Francisco 2. Nothing at all happens.

I don't quite know what a "San Francisco 2" is, but it looks very much like a Chinese Coolpad phone. Where are you trying to download Ask Mr Pigfish from, Google Play? It could be a compatibility issue.

San Francisco 2 by Orange is a rebadged ZTE Blade with Orange Android extensions. "Ask Mr Pigfish" is an app that is for SF and SF2 ONLY (it detects which address space is used, something you need to know if installing a new ROM) so there are no compatibility problems. I'm trying to download from Google Play.

I discovered that the Google Play app was missing - presumably deleted by me. I used the Android market app and successfully downloaded the "Ask Mr Pigfish" app.

Happy you sorted it, and thanks for the heads up about the SF2 is actually a ZTE. For thanks you'll see a blue THANKS button at the bottom right of each forum post. Along with QUOTE, MULTI QUOTE and QUICK REPLY.
