disable suspend mode?

Hi,

do you know any application to switch off the sfreen after 1mn, but keeping the app running, and the wireless communication ON??

Actually, I have 2 tablets, Android v2.2.
One of the tablet has an option to deactivate the screen afer X seconds or minutes, and another option to enable the "suspend mode" after X seconds or minutes.
For both I can also disable the deactivation of the screen and/or the suspend mode.
Which is nice, so I can switch off the screen after 1mn but disable the suspend mode, so the wireless communication for instance is always available while the screen is OFF.

But on the other tablet, I do not have the option to disable suspend mode...
I could maintain the screen ON forever, but I do not want that.

Any idea?
