Once you are rooted, you can load a new ROM that has most of the bloatware removed. Liberty 1.0 is a good one, Apex 1.31, and DarkSlide 4.2. Most ROM's have some level of the bloatware removed, you just have to look and see if they have removed what you want removed.

Other than that, once rooted, purchase Titanium Pro and there is an option in there to FREEZE apps. This will freeze the ones that cannot be removed. There is a list in All Root that lists the ones you can and cannot remove. If you remove some, then you can cause problems with your X. I will look and see if I can find those links and post them in here.

Don't forget to download Koush Bootstrap and make a nandroid of your stock setup which includes all the bloatware. You will need this to flash back to stock for the next OTA.
