Help Internet / Network Outage for Metro this AM?

No problems here, then again I am half way up the east coast of Florida from you.

I called metro support they said they are having issues South florida/NY/Detroit areas. Should be back up in 4 hrs We'll see

Yeah I dont have 1x or 4g working on my phone right now and its been like that since about 5am. Ive done all I can think of and still cant get it working, im in Detroit.

Yup. L.a. is out. No 4g/1x both gone. Idk since wha time but its 6am since i woke and noticed. Damn them! I need internet!

4g here in tampa is showing on my phone but at the moment i only see the green up arrow on but not down arrow meaning im sending but aint receiving lol they must of went haywire knowing that wifi-tether has been released i wonder if they are doing something to monitor closely our data usage but maybe thats just me being paranoid eh?

Dallas has been out. No 1x or 4g.
1x has come back.
Called metro waited 25 mins on hold before I talked with anyone. I was given same answer as above.

For the sake of record keeping, 4g is now in full force.

yep, was down for me at 6:30AM, 2G came back at around 10:30AM, 4G "Network" came back up but was not working for an additional hour. I had to force 4G off to get a working 2G connection after 10:30AM.

now, since this is happening to everyone at once, I'm wondering if the things going on are happening in texas where all our data is routing through. Maybe this is a good reason why they should not be routing all traffic through one location.

I agree but i'm not on their board... I would give them feedback if I thought it would even be read by a janitor...

Also, I was pretty damn sure my 4G was out for a lot of the day yesterday here in Tampa. I also noticed some outages this AM, but it was working again by this afternoon. I don't pay attention to 1X, if I don't have 4G I don't waste my time trying to use the internet on the phone. lol

That's pretty much how I am. 1x is good for email and im but it's just not fast enough for browsing.

My worry now is they will shut down the 1x in the name of new technology before 4g is fully stable and supported... The LTE network isn't big enough yet and certainly not stable enough yet.

they would not shut down 1X until all customers have switched to 4G. If they did the other customers would have no data at all on their phones.
