Well, thanky for the second there Bobby! That trick also works wonders for a waterlogged phone. In that case, I leave the rice filled baggie unzipped and put it on the dash of a vehicle for a day or two. Obviously, you'll want to pull the battery (if possible) and leave the back cover off. It doesn't take long to totally dry one out under the Texas sun!
Honestly, who of us hasn't dropped one in a toilet or whatever at some point, right? I sure have, and that's when I stopped carrying in a hip pocket. Duhhh! 😰 Peace and prosperity to all...
