What Do Idiots Call Your Evo?

Whenever Someone Sees My Evo, They Ask If It's A Droid Or iPhone. Sad. Freakin' Idiots. What Do Idiots Call Your Evo?

The fact that they ask means everything.

The fact that they can't place it means nothing.

It's not like Sprint is out there tearing it up with any sort of effective advertising whatsoever.

How are they supposed to know if you don't tell them? They're not idiots - they're curious, they're uninformed and they're using iconic language that so far to them translates to "better" or "quality product."

How 'bout humbly thanking them for asking, say, yeah, kinda like that, then show a nice app, then name drop?

That - or you can just continue to huff that they're idiots.

You do what you think is best.

All of my friends, at least the closest ones are all technology ignorant and most have been force fed Apple forever. As of recently, every single one of them has gotten a phone running android, respective to their carrier. "My name is Legion, for we are many."

As per OP, I've only gotten iPhone once. Politely corrected them and then they proceded about the EVO and Android, and seemed absolutely fascinated. Funny part is, this was right outside an Apple store. ;D

At the lake for the 4th of July I was taking pictures with it on the boat. One of my friends commented that he had never seen a digital camera with such a huge screen. Before I could explain, I got a call and answered it. While I was on the phone he was flipping out that someone called me on my camera.

After I got off the call I showed him some of the other things the EVO could do. For the rest of the day he was telling everyone to check out my camera that surfs the web, plays movies, has the world cup on it, has a kickstand, and takes phone calls.
