[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

Looks like everyone's having some trouble with B32...I guess I'll hold off until 33 hits

I'm sure mine were user error. I was in a rush and tried to do too many things between reboots. I did another clean flash and did things one step (read: reboot) at a time.and.my.play store is fine, inverted Gmail and apps are fine and LK 3.2.2 running well. :)

I've been running it all evening there is only one bug that affects me (probably most don't even use this) and it is the allow light decrease isn't working correctly in the auto-brightness custom settings. It dims whether it is checked or not. The build is very solid and is a build, not a milestone. It's lovely really, you should try it.

Edit: one more small bug that affects me is the notification transparency. The slider also affects the alarm clock icon, bluetooth, silent/vibrate icons. So unless you choose 100% on the slider these icons are very difficult to see. When choosing 100% on the slider then your stuck with bright notification icons on the left side of the status bar.

Other than having to reinstall Lightflow I've had zero problems with B32.

I don't use Lightflow, so ZERO problems for me. I rarely do with romanbb's builds.

It's funny. As much of a flashaholic as I am ("Hi, ridobe...") this is the only rom I've ever run on my gnex. Thanks to imoseyon, I get to flash something nearly every day, sometimes twice! :)

one more random reboot in the middle of the night is all its going to take, then i will be off of aokp for good, my phone is my alarm clock, and because it reboots with just aokp i cannot have that, so it has only one more time of doing that and staying in that reboot sequence til i am coming off of it

You tell 'em Saint that'a boy! :)

yeah i wasnt happy about the data wipes you have to do for this roms updates.... not a big fan. just sayin

It does stink, but with all the practice Ive had with AOKP, its about a 30 min process for me, to flash, and reload everything.

It the small price I pay to be on the latest and greatest... Kindof a good deal.

Glad your up and running again. Did you find a working inverted play store or are you just rolling stock?

Stock. Haven't found a way to get an inverted Play Store or an inverted Google Talk working on either my phone or my tablet for several builds now despite countless efforts. Wipes, reflashes, manual installs, fixing permissions, clearing data, etc...I've tried everything I can think of with no luck. Very very upsetting. Especially considering that up until a few builds ago I was always running those apps inverted.

B31 and loving it with Lean kernel 302.1 exp1. Running to and from B32 via a nandroid. Both like LK 3.2.1 exp1, and both do not play too well on 3.2.2 exp1. Then symptom is data connectivity. It stumbles to connect and then at low bars.

Going back to 3.2.1exp1 immediately remedies it.

I run the experimental for the vibration tweak. I use it to get just a tad more felt vibration. I use lean tweaks to set it from stock 1450 to 1475. It is reported and I found the same on my device that the vibration tweak is a small one. If you go up much more than 1475 it gets weaker felt. for those who want it reduced, they are golden. @ 1475 I can hear it vibrate more over the OE 1450 and its a little stronger. I wear lose pants and keep it in my front pocket with no case and I want any gains in felt vibration I can get.

On a more serious note, all of a sudden this morning I can't hold onto a wifi signal.

My phone was hot and draining fast while just sitting there, so I looked and it was awake basically all the time. I looked in BBB and the top listing under partial wakelocks was something like AndroidConnectivity Service. I turned off wifi and my awake time dropped to normal.

It's not the signal strength in my house, as other devices aren't having any trouble, and it's sitting about 4 feet from the router anyway. It's literally dropping the signal every few seconds.

I was thinking of wiping and flashing b32 anyway tonight, but I'm not sure if I'll have a lot of time to mess with my phone, as it's kind of crunch time at the college.

Any thoughts? Just leave wifi off til I can flash?
