Still locked and I rooted it.6.7.247 added to Bionic Reference - Terms - Links.
Is 6.7.247 still locked and can it be root-ed?

Rootable, apparently same security, rumor has it a patch to help upgrade to Jelly Bean has been included.
So you think we may go straight from GB to JB and skip ICS altogether?
I'm wondering why the time stamps on 6.7.247 are now KST (Korean Standard Time).

What Google needs to do, if it even can, is take a more Apple-ish approach and handle sending out the updates themselves rather than dealing with the carriers.... except for one thing ... it has the patch for the 4G data drops that is driving everyone (except us 3G-only people) nuts. There needs to be a "patching mechanism" to apply these more critical patches without waiting 3-6 months for the next big release.

You know, I've been wondering if that was the case. I didn't think it could take this long for ICS to be fixed for the Razr's and our Bionic's getting our ICS.It is my understanding that THAT is exactly what is holding everything up currently as they try to come to some new agreements with Verizon. My point was that due to the current way of doing things the ICS release is much more than cosmetic.

Frankly, froyo does everything all these other versions do. This hype to get the next version is foolish imo.

Isn't the Atrix 2 an AT&T phone though?I'll have to disagree, I think everything bad ever said about the Bionic is nullified by ICS.
It's my understanding that Motorola started pushing ICS for Atrix 2 on the 26th and didn't want to do the Bionic at the same time so they did .247 to take care of a small bug and include the patch, but after so many ICS leaks I'm not putting my faith in any rumor. I guess we'll know when it's pushed out.
Yes but the OTA's are still pushed in stages by Motorola's servers once approved, not by Verizon or AT&T.Isn't the Atrix 2 an AT&T phone though?
The reason I brought it up though is perhaps AT&T doesn't demand as much bloatware or whatever as Verizon and perhaps Google is trying to get Verizon to change some things which wouldn't affect their phones they have on other carriers.Yes but the OTA's are still pushed in stages by Motorola's servers once approved, not by Verizon or AT&T.
Hey, I have a new theory. Everybody else in the world already has the ICS OTA for Bionic and this is all just a big conspiracy to keep me out of the loop!
They wont be skipping ics. The existence of these leaks is proof. They are also slow so don't expect jb within 6 months. Frankly, froyo does everything all these other versions do. This hype to get the next version is foolish imo.
