I've reflashed the ROM and that seems to have worked. Only problem I now have is that its saying theres only 49mb of internal memory left. Not sure why that is :S

Hello Friends!

After installing Neat Rom 4.2 without any mod I lose network connection. Only wifi works. I am from Argentina using Movistar as my provider.

Hi glore2002!

The problem is that the modem in this release is possibly not the best for you, as I seem to remember you had a problems on Movistar before. Unfortunately, the GB and ICS modems are not compatible with JB and since there have only been 2 JB releases to-date, Spain and China, you may struggle on signal until a dedicated modem for your location is released in a firmware up-date.

Just a suggestion, try flashing the Full NEAT version instead of Lite.

Fully working multiwindow has been posted by mythrandyr here. Just flash it over this mod, it works. If not, delete flashbarservice.apk from /system and /preload/symlink/system, then reflash mythradndyr's mod.

It is available on the Full Fat NEAT ROM but as per post #1, it is removed in the Lite version.

I have All Share Play on my NeatRom Lite and I did not flash it via Removed Apps. It came with it.

Try a fresh install of XWLS8 instead of flashing it over XXLSJ.

Is it possible to flash the LSJ AOSP Lockscreen + Back To Kill mod with this rom? Together with the 'Torch on Lockscreen', those are the only things I miss...

Are you using Dorimanx kernel? Got the same under Dori7.44.

It's an issue with SuperSU and isn't specific to a particular kernel. The v1.01 update pushed out yesterday provides a temporary workaround.

I'm running Neatrom Full and have flashed the Aroma 4.2b mods. All is working well.
Only thing is I have now lost the ink unlock screen effect I flashed before when on LSJ.

Does anyone have a link to an update that will let me chose lockscreen unlock effects, such as ripple or ink that works with LS8. Don't want to mess with anything else at this stage, just looking to be able to change between lockscreen effects.

Hello!

After flashing Neat Rom Lite 4.2 I would like to check my phone keeps unlocked. But entering *#7465625# to see if everything is OFF, nothing happens. I thinks this is because the code changed or I am doing something wrong.

How can I check my phone is unlocked?

If it is not unlocked anymore which is today the best way to unlock it?

You could just flash a GB or ICS modem to JB but NOT the RIL as it is the RIL that will cause the problems. Not flashing a compatible RIL should not make a whole heap of difference to your phone. Therefore, if there was a modem that was particularly good for you in the past, give it a go after you have made a nandroid backup.

As for unlocking, the easiest method to test is by slipping another carriers sim card into your phone. If it is locked, then there are a few app's on the Play Store that claim to unlock an SGSII, not to mention that a few mobile phone shops also offer this service.

I have the ink effect lockscreen working on Neatrom LS8. I think this was for LSJ, but can confirm it is working fine for me on LS8 (so far)
