You know, I still can't comprehend why a lot of IT companies economise when it comes to buying equipment for their developers. I mean, it's like giving a carpenter a blunt chisel. I'm talking about under powered processors, stupidly small discs, and not enough RAM. Why?! You just know that people are going to start complaining pretty quickly, and with good reason. And yes, I really do need at least 2 (if not 3) large screen monitors.

Sonuva... I just realized that I bricked my tablet because I tried installing the very wrong ROM into it-- I tried putting a Galaxy Tab 2 ROM into a Galaxy Tab 4!

This may actually be recoverable, if I can find a way to charge the battery up (and GT 4 ROMS should be a lot easier to obtain than the GT2 ones are).

I never found any mention of this but why are coffee cups always obviously empty on screen. It's not that you can't see the liquid, but they obviously weigh nothing when one is picked up. Always has driven me barmy. There must be an alternative

Why doesn't Mc dicks ever have those sleeves on their bloody coffee cups, like Starbucks, seriously come on,please instead of working for a better cup, work for a better ring around them, made out of paper, seriously think about the customer's own hand, or even offer to fill up their cups with ice!

I'll start.

I'm sick and tired of the way my employer, "The State" handles promotions, pay, and extras, etc (for example, the window cube that opens up).

Nevermind how hard you work, or how much work you do while you're peers sit around and do nothing. Nevermind how well you know your job. Nevermind the initiative you take or the fact that you actually care about your users.

All that matters is "time in service".

It's so depressing and kills any motivation to try to do as well as you know you should and could. Because while you're kickin' butt, the guy next to you who does nothing (and knows NOTHING about his job), gets the promotion because he "qualifies" - since he's been around for years. Of course, he still comes to you for help with everything he DOES get assigned to do. But, he doesn't share that fat paycheck.

...and that, ladies and gentlemen, is what grinds my gears.

Why doesn't my sister take her dog into adoption anyways, she is the most irritationable person ever, just jumps into whatever without reading the warning lables though, we have her pet until she does come back to her vacation in a long time from now..

Possibly, but I think if you assume that generally people don't know what they're doing, you won't be far wrong.
