Hulu is working on Froyo

It looks like the Flash player works in Dolphin HD (and perhaps other browsers?) and not just the default one :D I'm watching some subbed anime episodes (Bleach) via the Viz Anime site which uses Hulu and it's playing FLAWLESSLY! Took a minute or two to load the content on my home Wifi (comcast cable) but it's playing with no slowdown / stuttering and the audio / subtitles are perfect!

I haven't checked the main Hulu site, but the Viz Anime official site uses Hulu to play it's videos and so far I've tested two episodes that worked perfectly (screen controls, volume slider, fullscreen, and even the advertisement breaks). The South Park official site full episodes work as well (not associated with Hulu as far as I know) but they don't fullscreen as cleanly as Viz Anime's site does

Yeppers, it does work! I'm testing a Family Guy episode on Hulu's main site right now :D The interface is clunky as hell but that's to be expected since they didn't build it with the phone interface in mind. If you screw up like I did and accidentally mute the video while trying to fullscreen it (nerr...) you can press+hold the video screen to display the controls, then roll the trackball upwards which will increase the volume :)

Ditto here. Had to use google search and bookmarks to get to different sites since I couldn't type direct into the address bar. I only use Dolphin browser for the user agent spoofing functionality so it's not a big deal for me working around it until they do an update for Froyo. For now I would probably only use Dolphin over the default browser for watching Hulu vids since it appears to be a way around their mobile access restrictions.

You can use the default browser to watch on hulu. Just type about:config and enter in the address bar. Nothing will happen visibly but you no have new options in settings. Got to settings and click on the very last option. Switch your user agent to desktop and hulu is yours. If you have installed a hosts file you will get an error where the ad was supposed to be but tough it out and the show will start after the ad time passes.

Yes, this is a good way to deceive Hulu into thinking you're accessing it from a desktop browser. Here's an illustrated guide on how to do it.
