No, peons say "ready to work", the Human Alliance Peasants say "Ready to Serve".
I want my internets...

Not in Warcraft II they don't. They say "Ready to serve".
They might have changed the .wav file in later releases to be more PC.
Unless I am getting old and confusing the names of the orc/humans. Which, at 44 years, is quite possible.
In that case, yes, you can have your internets.
At any rate, my computer said that for years (back when an AMD K6-2 400Mhz was the shizzle)
On a total side note, which will likely be modded, anyone know where I can get those .wav files?

NightAngel79, thank you for clarifying. Now I can make sure my girlfriend doesn't rub it in my face (she has the Dinc2).
Does anyone know how to get rid of the extra splash/boot up images? I have a custom one that replaces the "HTC Incredible" screen but the "HTC quietly brilliant" and "DROID" still pop up after. Save me!
Still debating whether to unroot and go stock when Verizon releases it. For those of you with doubts, the 2.3.4 rom is FAST. Bootup in literally 10 seconds. Sweet baby jesus in a birch bark canoe!
I decided to root last night and install the rom, and this thing is fast. I was not aware my Incredible could move so fast. I am glad I decided to root and install this rooted rom. I think I will be better off than waiting for Verizon to release theirs and be stuck with their bloat. I have removed a few programs that I never have any intention of running and will probably remove a few more. So far I have not found any bugs.

Wow, i just fixed the build prop because you (verizon) decided to just use the sprint ota version of the prop. I had to just so i could see verizon apps in the market instead of sprint. I cant see defending this great verizon dev team. I always have to fix things. I hope everyone enjoys the ota leak.
Which ROM are you referring to? I looked through, but this thread is def getting really long! And how is battery life?
I installed this rom, [ROM] Incredible Stock OTA [RLS2] [4.06.605.2] [Android 2.3.4] [8/17/11] [Fast!!] - xda-developers.
The battery life doesn't seem that different from stock froyo, but it is the first day and I have been using it more than I did previously. The speed is definitely better though, no question about that.

I am sorry sir but if someone is going to attack my integrity they should be prepared for a response, and as you can see I have never lost a debate. Just something to think about before anyone tries to attack me again.
I dont think you understand. The "leaked" ROM over at XDA is obviously a hacked up rip from the EVO. This is not hard to see. Another reason I never use 3rd party ROMs as they just dont work correctly.About that never losing a debate...do you have that build.prop info for us yet?

OK Evan, enough is enough. Please do not go further with your charade. It is no longer entertaining. You and I both know the truth. Don't we?
I am loving it. I was a huge fan of cm7, but having sense back with the speed is really nice.
Hacked EVO rom or not, it runs flawlessly! Anyone found any problems?

So its a EVO rom?? Not a chance, though our phones are similar the drivers used in each device are completely different. I don't believe for a sec a EVO rom would work so well on our phoneI dont think you understand. The "leaked" ROM over at XDA is obviously a hacked up rip from the EVO. This is not hard to see. the only weird thing i noticed was that when i recieve calls on the slide down bar it is bordered with a yellow/green line

Just curious, why is the ROM almost twice the size of the OTA?
Noob ignorance.
MolBasser
If I am not mistaken, and trust me that is very possible, the OTA is just a patch to the existing ROM, not the full blown rom downloaded to our phones. The full blown rom, when released, will probably be about the same size as the one at XDA currently.
