'Retina Display' sounds pretty awesome. I do like IPS panels.
If anything we can say that this product is by no means a massive leap past the competition as in the past.[/QUO
i been thinking it for a while, this is the first time that apple is catching up to whats already out.
Wonder if FaceTime is compatible with Qik?

What are you talking about? Apple was the pioneers of MMS and, Hello... compass!? Dude come on!
lmao.. since when have you known an apple anything to be compatible with anything else?
I should have put a . I knew it was doubtful. I just don't see this technology being all that important unless it can work cross-platform (ie. Qik, Skype etc). If all you have to "face talk" with is this native app that is only iPhone 4 compatible, then really what's the point?
People always talk about the disadvantage of Android upgrading at such a rapid pace.. fragmentation etc. Now, we will see the advantages of it..
Apple just released a brand new iPhone that, with the most generous of descriptions, is equal to or slightly bests the newest Android phone. We all know for a fact, that a new iPhone wont be released until this time next year.
Anyone willing to bet what Android phones will look like by the time the next iPhone comes out?
exactly..
The only time video calling will every be groundbreaking on any level will be when its a Skype app that uses 3G/4G. Open to any and all people on smartphones on any network

I might get hated for this, but I was kind of impressed. I'd really like to have a phone that has the polish of an iPhone. I think we'll get there, it'll just take awhile. I liked the folder grouping, and I know we can do it, but not as elegantly. I also like the multi-tasking, again, we can do it, but I like the implementation on the iPhone. Also, the form factor is a beast; I am loving Android, but hating what it is, to me, a terrible quality phone. I'm all for the Xtreme.
I don't get that last statement? You think the Droid has terrible quality? As in build quality, or you don't like Android OS?
Either way, the Xtreme won't be any different. It will still have Motorola's rugged build quality (which is superb IMO), and it will still run Android.
The iPhone 4 has great hardware, but I'm afraid I can't ever go back to using that crippled thing they call iOS.
