Yeah, but that nukes your ROM and requires a reflash. This only vapes the kernel-related stuff in /etc/init.d

Its basically the same as the above but without the factory reset.

Looking at the script, it does the above (without factory reset and reset battery stats) twice.
It removes some init.d scripts (which are basically startup scripts)
the only "unknown" to me is what it does when it runs "cleaningmodules"

Absolutely nothing - the cleaningmodules script isn't included in the Samsung version as it's only required by CM7-based ROMs apparently.

Btw, keep an eye on the changelog for v3.0 if/when it appears... I saw a request for the script to remove CWMManager.apk in the support thread. That might be okay for CM7/ROM Manager users but would wreak havoc for the rest of us!
