Hey all,
I have this new Micromax A70,
for some reason it's gone into Boot loops,
only the Micromax logo appears, it dosent go beyond it.
I've tried using the fast boot method,
but when I connect my phone to pc and press the Camera button,
it only shows that the battery is charging, and I've installed Android SDK also.
It's currently on the stock firmware, and stock rom.

I dont mind Rooting it, If i have to, but i need to fix this problem.

I've even tried all the combo's such as Vol Up+power etc...
still not working!

Please Help!

i know u tried fastboot method in wrong way
press camera button as tight(don't break it) as u can and then connect.
many of us were just pressing it lightly.
actually that camera button has two notches.
1st for autofocus and if u press more tighter u will feel another click.
we want second one.
so press that button hard and then insert usb(this has to b done in fone switched off state)

I assume u r not rooted n on stock recovery.
U can enter recovery by placing a finger on home button along with pressing power button.this method is shared by mmx itself.I hv no idea if it works..
But it's mentioned that there u can factory reset your phone. All data will be lost.
Before u do that i will advice to pull out the battery n keep it as for abt 2 min then reinsert the battery n try to power up normally.
But How it went into bootloop by itself?u must have done something!!!what u were doing before it went to bootloop??

Nope you are doing the fastboot method wrong way !
first install drivers for Micromax a70 !!--you might have forgotten this !

now completely turn off the device !
remove battery twice and then press and hold the camera button do not leave !
now insert the cable to pc and mobile phone
now change directory to your fastboot-windows saved directory
then type in fastboot devices
and your device will be there

personally i have tried to connect my device via adb but it has not connected to my mac EVEN once but fastboot works every time !!!! :)

I tried, still not working!
This time around, I again tried pressing the Vol Down+Power
it worked, but only the exclamation mark around a triangle, with a droid
is appearing, nothing else, its stuck at that as well.

Yup
you entered into recovery but as no custom recovery has been flashed you get the symbol ...
just follow my steps in previous post !

I have no Idea, my sister was using it,
she even complained that it switched off on its own sometimes,
then she came and told me that, it wasnt turning on!

First of it rarely switches off of its own unless you have done something with root folders !
more over sometimes it may take 10 mins even or more to start up just have to be patient !
also in case you are unable to boot recovery even try flashing using fastboot and regarding drivers i may not help as drivers are not needed for Mac and Linux...

Also, i have tried to boot in fastboot mode .... it says Android system recovery utility....there are four options--
1.reboot system now
2.apply sdcard:update.zip
3.wipe data/factory reset
4.wipe cache partition

what should i do???

That's not fastboot, it's recovery...have you checked CWM Recovery installation thread for instructions?
