(solved) BT/headset auto vol reduce when connect - how remove

This is a safety feature. So, every time I connect a headset to my phone, I have to connect to somebody and then turn my headset vol up. pita. Any way to modify/remove/mollify this "feature"? Thanks

Moto one 5g ace on 12, current, STOCK. Happens on any headset. Current is Skullcandy Indy Evo. Happens on any android release on any android phone. "feature" has been around since GB.

I don't know Moto devices, but on my Samsung phone it's Media Volume Limit in Settings, turn it to OFF.

Moto doesn't have a "Media Volume limit" but putting that into google Play Store, I found an app "Volume Limiter" and if I choose "Maximum Volume Limit / Sound Output: Bluetooth". it seems to work as I wanted. not sure i understand the issue. what does this mean "I have to connect to somebody and then turn my headset vol up."??? you have to call someone first?

correct - I have to be on a call for the vol adjust to work. Now fixed, see above. so no longer a prob.

hmmmmm it is just weird that you need a 3rd party app to fix this. have you tried just rebooting your phone?

of course. phone gets rebooted several times a week.

Be not confused, I say unto you! It is simply that Samsung chose to make it an option, and Moto did not.
